OUR DESIGN PHILOSOPHY
Design style and aesthetics are very personal and your home should reflect that. We believe in forming a partnership with you to bring your vision to life and fulfill your hopes and wishes for your space. What we bring to your home is our knowledge and expertise in space planning, and a designer’s aesthetic to make your spaces beautiful yet practical. We want our time with you to be fun and inspiring, not stressful.
DESIGN SERVICE OPTIONS
Since we are a service based business, we base our fees off of an hourly rate and have a cost-plus model for furniture and accessory purchases. Our goal is to work efficiently and effectively, while offering high-quality design and products.
It all begins with an initial consultation. Typically, this is an hour with you to listen. Listen to your hopes and dreams, the way you want to use your space(s), and what you love and don’t. We then form a plan for the best design service for you and make recommendations to achieve your goals. These recommendations are outlined in a Scope of Work that we will provide via email within 5 business days of our meeting.
Consultation
Consult is for the person who likes design but wants guidance from an expert. From space planning to paint and finishes, we will work with you any way you wish. This model can be used in a variety of ways, but is more for the person who wants retail recommendations they can purchase and manage themselves. Purchased in packages, we can work with you to decide how you want to use your time and will help in any way you wish.
Full-Service Design
Full-service design is for the person who wants a design plan from start to finish. After the initial consultation with an established scope of work, we begin space planning and building a design plan with design recommendations. We meet to review the selections we think will look best in your space. Upon your approval, we purchase, manage the purchases, and install the items in your space. Full-service design is charged in sum (based on our hourly rate) and billed in monthly increments. Once a 10% overage of estimated design time occurs, our hourly rate will commence. Our estimates are accurate, however, when unforeseeable events occur such as change orders, addendums, change of style aesthetic or vision, clients will be billed accordingly.
E-Design
E-Design is for the client who does not live in our same area but wants our design expertise. This model is similar to consultation with the exception of physically meeting in your space. Instead, you provide us pictures, videos, and measurements. The entire process is online and recommended selections are either retail and/or W+H Design trade vendors. The receiving, staging and ordering of products are managed by you, however we will be there for you from start to finish, forming a partnership online and via the phone. Pricing is based on the scope of the project and billed in monthly increments.
